Everything you need to know before your Silver River or Salt Springs adventure.
Can I bring drinks and snacks?+
Yes. Guests may bring drinks and snacks in reusable containers. Disposable containers are prohibited at all of our launch locations.
Examples: reusable water bottles, tumblers, insulated cups, reusable food containers.
Where do you operate?+
The Silver River (launching from Ray Wayside Park, 7 days a week) and Salt Springs (launching from the Salt Springs Marina, Friday–Sunday). Both locations operate 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM year-round. Both locations offer 2-hour or 4-hour rentals with launch times every 30 minutes starting at 9:00 AM. Rainbow River self-guided tours are coming soon!
Is this a guided tour?+
No — all of our rentals are self-guided. We provide a full safety and operation briefing at check-in, then you rent the GoBoat, explore the river at your own pace, and return it at the end of your rental time.
Where do Silver River trips begin?+
Ray Wayside Park — trips start and end at the same launch. Silver River rentals are 2 hours or 4 hours, with launch times every 30 minutes starting at 9:00 AM.
Where do Salt Springs trips begin?+
The Salt Springs Marina — trips start and end at the same place. Available Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM–6 PM, with 2 hours or 4 hours. Launch times every 30 minutes starting at 9:00 AM.
Are parking fees included?+
No. Parking is a separate park-designated fee paid at arrival: $7 per vehicle at Ray Wayside Park and $21 per vehicle at Salt Springs Marina. These fees are independent of River Glide Adventures and do not go to us. Launch and admittance fees are included in your rental.
How far in advance do I need to book?+
Online bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day reservations may be made over the phone on weekends if inventory allows.
How old do I have to be?+
The primary renter must be 21 or older to book, sign the waiver, and be present at check-in. Operators may be as young as 13 when accompanied by an adult at all times.
What's included with my rental?+

Is tax included in the listed prices?+
No. Listed prices are before tax; 7.5% Florida sales tax (6% state + 1.5% Marion County surtax) is added at checkout.
Do you sell gift cards?+
Yes — gift cards are available and can also be issued as credit toward a future rental.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the rental.
Cancellations made 24 or more hours before the rental receive a gift card for the full booking amount.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the rental are non-refundable.
A full refund is issued for weather-related cancellations or any cancellation on our end.
